Suzanne Cannell - Parent Governor

I am a parent of two children one of whom attends Foxwood Academy. I was born and raised in the North East of England and moved to Nottingham in 2006. My background is business and finance. I have over 13 years management experience with HSBC bank plc. I have a BA in Social Policy and Social Justice. I have previous experience from being a Vice-Chair on a local primary school governing board. I am currently a stay-at-home mum but have recently worked as a business consultant at Dragonfly Impact Education in an advisory role. I am passionate about Special Educational Needs and a keen advocate for children with additional needs. My interests are stakeholder engagement and stakeholder wellbeing. I am a driven individual, passionate about values-based leadership and have a clear analytical view of both long term and short-term strategic planning.
