Jacquie Sainsbury

My name is Jacquie and I am really happy to serve you as a governor at Foxwood. I am a mum to 5 children, now young adults. This is the most important job I have ever had. I am an Executive Headteacher in a large Nottinghamshire primary school and am also the Primary Director for White Hills Park Trust, overseeing the primary schools within the trust. I am also a leadership coach for senior leaders and headteachers. I wanted to be a Governor to give some time voluntarily to make a difference to others and I feel I have a lot of skills and support to offer. My skills range from financial to teaching and learning, staffing, to working with families. I am NPQH and NPQEL qualified. I am experienced in SEND provision and feel passionately that as a country we must go further to provide for our VIPs, birth and lifelong. Supporting relatives with autism I feel strongly that we must educate the world to walk in others shoes. I find they often make more sense of the world than me. I feel our next generation must be taught that there should be no unconscious bias, that the environment is precious and change is needed and that kindness is important. I am proud to be a part of the Foxwood community and will also learn much from my role.
